| I really thought I would love this product over the plastic stylus because I liked the aluminum look and feel. However, the night I got this product, the first one broke the second I slid it into the stylus slot on the console. The plastic end broke off and the stylus got stuck inside. I tried a second one, thinking maybe it was just defective, but sure enough, that one broke too, within a day. I'm a 35 year old woman so I am not hard on the products as maybe a child may be so I see no reason that they should have broken, other than poor manufacturing. I would not recommend this product to anyone - do not buy! You will be wasting $7. It was a complete waste for me...then I had to turn around and buy more of the plastic stylus. Should have just done that in the first place. |

| The stylus was just the opposite of what I wanted. I thought that buying an aluminum part with plastic tips would be superior to the all plastic version. My kids broke all three in a short amount of time playing on their DS lites. I since bought the OEM plastic version and have had no problems. So in short they look good but dont last and not worth the extra $$. |

As others have said, breaks off where it connects, I just wanted to add my vote since I bought about three packs and most of them broke shortly after.
They are pretty, too bad they're not sturdier. The original style styli have never once broken, and I've bought plenty if those as well (I have six kids) so these are flawed. |

| If I purchased based on some of these reviews I probably would not buy, however, I purchased these last year and they are great. Very comfortable to hold and much better than the completely plastic ones are. Yes the top cap DID pop off a couple of times, but I pushed it back on (not even using glue) and had no further problem. I personally feel that the problem lies not so much with the stylus, but the user. I am an adult and my daughter is older now so I do know about parenting. If she abused her electronics the way many of the children I observe (at most public places and social events), she would not have had any games left at all. In the long run you'll have to make the decision and I recommend them. |
