I got this controller for $3.75. I found it to be a bargain. It came in the mail the 1st few delivery dates. The controller cable is about 5' long (which is not mentioned for the product). The controller is a bit on the rough side compared to the original super nintendo controller which was the only down side for me. On the bright side the buttons do respond quick and it is a good controller to play in any NES game.
I would recommend this product |

| We were pleased to receive our controllers, because we have old games we love to play. These controllers work well, but are extremely stiff and don't allow the precision that the original controllers had. |

| I rate this product a 3 solely because if you still play your SNES you have a choice buy an old Nintendo brand SNES controller or buy the generic that SNES approves or the many other generics. Honestly these controllers may last you a few years, but buying the old SNES controller you are likely to get the same or worse results. You get a more stiff d-pad on these which you think would be great same reason why you never replace your NES controllers not true. All and all you are about equal either way generic or old official. However finding an old official in good condition is fairly unlikely people don't sell their SNES controllers unless they are well used or they don't have the system anymore or it broke. |
| good for price. not as good as original hardware | 2010-07-16 | 3 / 5 |

| Pretty good value but the cord is a tad short and the buttons are stiffer than on the original SNES controllers |
| As close as you can get to the original controller. | 2010-07-11 | 4 / 5 |

| I understand some people might be mad that this was not the same controller made by Nintendo, but that is no excause to give poor reviews and to say this controller is bad. I have played the SNES controller and the original SNES. I remembered the SNES controller being with a little bit of weight. As with this controller it has none, but to me, that does not really matter, what matters is as long as it works, and it does what it is needed to do. I have tested both, and usually the common complaints with generics is a stiff D-Pad, that is why i recommend buying 2, luckily both of mine worked and had no d-pad issues and connectivity issues at all whatsoever. I highly recommend this controller if you can not get an SNES one out on the market. Because these are brand new and CLEAN controllers handled with care. |
