I purchased this game for my 5-year-old son who loves cats. He really enjoys picking out and playing with the kittens. His 8-year-old sister also enjoys this game. While they don't play it daily, they do go back to it when they're looking for something cute & cuddly.

I purchased this product for my daughter's 8th birthday and she really seems to like it.

I tried to give this game the zero stars it deserves but was forced to give it one. I bought this game for my five-year-old as a way to introduce her to our PS2 system. We don't have many games ourselves and I thought this would be a fun treat for her since she loves cats and loves her PetPals Leapster game so much. I read every review for this game including the information on the company website and was SHOCKED when my husband and I started to play the PS2 version to get to know it. Thank goodness my daughter was not in the room because the entire game is NOTHING like what I've read!!! There is an extensive story line about an evil wolf who tricks the [player's] cat into handing over a precious magic hat and proceeds to destroy the entire village and enrage all of the wild animals to turn against the cats and attack them! The written dialogue on screen is endless and the [player's] cat repeatedly lies, steals and then lies again about his actions and intentions! The "mild" fantasy violence warning (which is nowhere in any description or picture of the game)is an understatement. Had my daughter been watching when the evil wolf captured the hat she would have cried her eyes out and no doubt had nightmares! I wish that the product I recieved was like the one I've seen described here and the one advertised on the Ubisoft website where you can take care of and play with different cats. This PS2 game is not at all like that! DO NOT BUY this game for your child, animal lover or not!

This is a very cute game that you don't have to use brain power for. It's nice to play after a really long day at work. The kitty I have been working on isn't very needy at all. I wish there were more mini games though.
