It has several new objects for Sims, including cars, vampires, poker, a photo booth, etc. I didn't originally see the point or benefits from getting Sims 2 Nightlife when I first started my Sims 2 collection. However, 12 Sims 2 PC games later, I finally decided to get Nightlife (from a really great seller, who got it to me in a week despite it being Memorial Day) and I'm very pleased with my purchase and the game itself. Definitely worth buying!!! |

I have purchased TS2 NL and I must say that it is a great game! It add's a whole new dimension to the game. You're Sims can now go out on dates, become Vampires, dance until the sun comes up at the hottest clubs Downtown has to offer. Not only that, the dates are AMAZING! if you get up to an dream date with you're prefered Sim, they will recive a vase of Roses to show their appreciation for a wonderful time that you're Sim showed them. If the date goes bad...well...you will receive something more less heart-warming than a vase of Roses. You'd receive a bag of poop if the date didn't go too well and you're date was unsatisfied. AND..you have the option to call on a Gypsy(dating service) to get set up with a Sim that would fit you're sims criteria. But make sure you have enough Simoleons to pay for the best date the service has to offer. Now that I have NL, I wouldn't know what to do without it. If YOU DO NOT have TS2 NL, then I suggest that you go out and get it! It's really fun to have.

First of all, this is an expansion pack to "The Sims 2", and you have to have "The Sims 2" in order to play this game. Now, what this game brings to the table is the ability to have a Downtown, which is a new area that has a lot more fun locations to explore.
THE GOOD THINGS ABOUT THIS GAME:
1.You are able to go to nightclubs, bowling alleys, restaurants, and bars.
2.There is a new Pleasure Aspiration, which basically has you fulfill fun goals (like going bowling, jump on the couch, watch TV, etc.).
3.You can go on dates. You basically take a sim out somewhere (or invite them to your home) and you try to improve your relationship with them and have a good date.
4.There are vampires. I thought that the vampires are fun and unique to the game.
5.There is new matchmaker. Basically, you pay her money, and the more you pay her, the better a date she gets you.
6.You choose "turn-ons and turn-offs." These are basically what you find attractive and disgusting in a person. For instance you might be attracted to someone who's fit and has blond hair but not be attracted to someone who stinks.
7.You get new clothes and hairstyles, which aren't numerous, but they are really fun.
8.You can go on group outings with multiple people.
THE BAD THINGS ABOUT THIS GAME:
1.It's really hard to become a vampire if you want to become one.
There really aren't that many bad things about the game! I did find it a little expensive, but it is still a great addition to the series. Definitely get it for $20 or less, but I recommend that you don't pay $30. |
