| Cyber Tiger take it for what it is. | 2001-06-22 | 5 / 5 |

| Yes this game is unrealistic. The title and the picture on the box should tell you that. It is not a hard game by any means. A beginner should be able to make par or close to it. When you learn the game then it will keep on challenging you. I am not real familiar with all of the extras but this is a great game to play with your friends. If you are looking for a realistic golf game then this is not what you want. But if you like to have fun on the golf coarse then this is what you want. |

| What a fun game! With battle mode, tournament, Skins Game, Tiger Challange, Single mode, and other modes that I can't remember, also three great courses, and some fun characters. You can also blow up the people's heads to make them look funny. I recommend this game. Very Fun! |
| A GREAT GAME TO PLAY WITH YOUR FRIENDS! | 2000-04-20 | 5 / 5 |

| This is a great game to play with your friends and all the characters are cool. Use the codes to get the extra characters, because the "find a player" feature is impossible. This game is fun once you get the hang of it. I recommend this game to everyone who likes golf. |

| A first for me in that I rate the difficulty as "impossible! " This game is like a "Jekyll and Hyde! " The interface for driving and approach shots is rather clever using the control stick but the putting is the absolute worst I've ever seen in any golf game I have played, which is a shock for an EA Sports game. Gone is the familiar putting grid in favor of a single line that bends depending on the break and an arrow that depicts whether the putt is up or downhill. I have managed a few below par rounds but basically its nearly impossible to read the greens or judge speed. Forget about making any long putts, let alone shorter ones. Some would argue that that is the way real golf is but I bet if Tiger sat down with this game that he'd be upset to have his name associated with it. I know he favored a more arcade experience but that element is poor at best. The power-up balls are a neat idea but I found that only three of them (distance, water skip & the ball that stops dead upon landing) were worth anything. The Tiger Challenge and Battle Mode aren't bad but don't make up for the poor gameplay. A game like Mario Golf, although cartoonish, had an excellent gameplay interface and physics. Other faults are a non-existant create-a-player mode (all you can do is change the name of an existing golfer and skill level) and a silly "find a golfer" mode, although I can't figure it out. Supposedly you hit strange objects during rounds to unlock golfer but where are they? I hit a pop machine and dinosaur out in the middle of nowhere and received nothing. There are several creatures about but to hit one is a once in million try! The driving range does help you hone some specialty shots but is rather silly overall. The music is terrible, the sounds are OK but the few spoken words are redundant and irritating, especially when you are told to "hurry up." The graphics are the only thing that seems polished. Another plus is pretty generously sized fairways and greens for novice players. True PGA courses would also have been welcome. I so looked forward to getting this game but having played it, this is the most disappointed I've ever been. Rent it first before spending the money. |
| Not up to par! | 2000-03-29 | 1 / 5 |

| I was interested in purchasing this game as I enjoy golf sims. I decided to rent it first just to be on the safe side. I'm glad I did. Cyber Tiger is a very unrealistic golf game. The ball seems to bounce around in a very unusual and artificial way. The sound effect which accompanies this "bounce" is unusual too -- it kind of sounds like someone striking a piece of cardboard with a pencil. Speaking of sound, crowds can sometimes be heard but they are nowhere to be seen! On top of this, the terrain, at least on the initial course, is rather bland and is extremely artificial looking which makes it all seem like a worthless venture. I would recommend that everyone wait for the European PGA tour game that will hopefully be available soon. |
